Submission of a written request from parents/guardians of children with special needs for continuation (extension) of their attendance at Special Schools
Children with special needs normally attend a special school until the age of 18 years.
Parents/guardians can apply for an extension of attendance – by sending the form YPAN DDE ΕΕ 04- to the District Committee of Special Education (DCSE) which can approve such an extension.
The application must be renewed each year.
No extension of attendance is given if the child completed the 21st year of his/her age prior to the 31st of August of the school year that the application is submitted for.
