The right of parents/guardians to obtain copies from their children’s personal files, kept in confidential records in the Office of the District Committee of Special Education
Parents/guardians of children with special needs have the right to access the personal files of their children kept in confidential records in the Office of the local District Committee of Special Education (DCSE) and obtain copies.
The parents/guardians can request the documents from the local DCSE (Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka/Ammochostos, Pafos).
The Administrative Officer, within a reasonable period of time, invites the parents/guardians to visit, on an appointed day and time, the offices of the DCSE in order to receive copies of the documents.
Parents/guardians must present their identity card when visiting the DCSE, in order to be able to receive the requested documents.
