EUROPEAN AGENDA FOR ADULT LEARNING 2014-2015




The European Agenda for Adult Education 2014-15 set the priorities for European cooperation in educational policy on Adult 2012-20. Taking into account the specific conditions in each Member State and being in line with national priorities, the Member States are invited to focus their actions on the following areas:
  • Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality
  • Improve the quality and effectiveness of adult education and training
  • Promoting equity, social cohesion and active citizenship through adult education
  • Enhance creativity and innovation for adults and their educational environment.
  • Improving knowledge base on adult learning and its monitoring.

The specific objective of the period 2014-15 is to support concrete activities which will help raise participation of low skilled or low qualified adults in learning, increase the impact of the learning and develop their basic skills.

Cyprus implemented an Action Plan for 2012-14 and the material that was produced can be found on the relevant link. For the years 2014-15, Cyprus implements a new Action Plan, which is co funded by the European Commission and the Republic of Cyprus (€ 125.600,00).
